At Ladakh Academy Confederation, we work with communities to raise awareness around important social issues and encourage collective action that contributes to healthier, safer, more inclusive and sustainable communities.

What We Do :

• Health Awareness - We promote awareness about health, healthy lifestyles, prevention and well-being, helping individuals and communities make informed choices and build healthier lives.

• Drug-Abuse Prevention - We work to raise awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encourage healthier choices, responsible behaviour and supportive communities, particularly among young people.

• Environmental Protection - We encourage communities to understand and protect their natural surroundings through environmental awareness, responsible practices and collective action.

• Waste Management - We promote responsible waste management and community participation in keeping local environments cleaner, healthier and more sustainable.

• Social Rights & Government Schemes - We help create awareness about social rights, public services and relevant government schemes so that people can better understand and access available opportunities and support.

• Community Participation & Inclusion - We encourage people from different backgrounds to participate in community initiatives, promoting inclusion, equal opportunities, cooperation and shared responsibility.

• Community Development - We support community-level initiatives that respond to local needs and contribute to social well-being, stronger communities and an improved quality of life.
