Based in Kargil | Working across Ladakh
Ladakh Academy Confederation (LAC) is a Kargil-based non-governmental organisation dedicated to empowering the youth and communities of Ladakh. We believe that a stronger future for Ladakh begins with educated and empowered youth, skilled communities, sustainable livelihoods, healthy lifestyles, a protected environment and equal opportunities. Guided by this vision, LAC works across a wide range of areas, creating pathways for learning, skill development, career growth, entrepreneurship, livelihoods, social awareness leadership and community development.
Our work is driven by the belief that every young person should have the opportunity to discover their potential, build their capabilities and shape a meaningful future. Through our programmes and initiatives, we strive to create a more stronger, educated, skilled, confident, self-reliant and resilient Ladakh.
