Skills can open doors to employment, entrepreneurship and greater economic independence. At Ladakh Academy Confederation, we work to equip youth and communities with practical, professional and digital skills that can help them adapt to changing opportunities, build confidence and create sustainable livelihoods.

Our initiatives focus on developing relevant skills while creating pathways for young people and communities to apply their knowledge, explore opportunities and become more self-reliant.

What We Do :

• Practical Skill Development - We support hands-on learning and skill-building opportunities that help young people develop practical abilities relevant to employment, entrepreneurship and everyday livelihoods.

• Digital Skills - We promote digital literacy and technology-based skills that enable youth and communities to participate more effectively in education, employment, business and the evolving digital economy.

• Employability & Professional Skills - We help participants strengthen communication, teamwork, problem-solving, workplace readiness and other professional skills that can improve their employability and career prospects.

• Entrepreneurship - We encourage young people to explore entrepreneurship by developing business-oriented skills, confidence and knowledge needed to identify opportunities and turn ideas into meaningful ventures.

• Livelihood Opportunities - We support initiatives that help individuals and communities explore income-generating opportunities and build sustainable sources of livelihood suited to local needs and available resources.

• Self-Reliance & Economic Empowerment - Our work aims to strengthen individual and community capacity so that people can make better use of their skills, resources and opportunities to become more economically independent.
